Adriana Ramić

Adriana Ramić is a New York-based artist working with poetics of lexicons, translations and reconfigurations among human and nonhuman existences. Her work has been exhibited widely, including at the Hessel Museum of Art, New York; Kunstinstituut Melly, Rotterdam; Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna; Moderna Museet, Stockholm; LUMA/Westbau, Zurich; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Detroit.

During her time at KAMEN, she will study symbolic cognitions of absence and work closely with nearby animal life to develop an intuitive, material body of work drawing from the region’s histories and ecologies.
