Walk through the flooded villages

Today we went for a long walk around the residency. As the water in the lake is currently the lowest we have ever seen it, we were able to walk through ruins of the villages that were flooded when the lake was made in the sixties. During most seasons, these ruins are deep underwater. Since the end of the summer, they have slowly been appearing.

Marleen de Witt (NL), cultural anthropologist and in the selection committee of KAMEN, is our guest this week.
